Thalpe Beach is a beach in Sri Lanka’s southern region, near to the city of Galle. It is a famous tourist spot for both locals and visitors from other countries. Thalpe’s surrounding region is busy with stores, restaurants, and water sports-related activities. Thalpe is a peaceful village located away from the rush and bustle of the big towns along the southern coastal belt. Thalpe Village is rich in history, adventure, culture, and gastronomy, as well as Thalpe Beach, which is generally clean and tranquil. Stilt fisherman are frequently observed in this coastal town, and it is an excellent opportunity to learn more about the way of life in this lovely coastal town.The rock ponds were carved out of the corals some 50 years ago and used to soak coconut husks in order to extract the coconut coir, according to the islanders. From March to April, the ideal time to explore Rock Pool Beach is early in the morning.
