The beaches of Goyambokka and Pallikaduwa are two twin bay beaches. Located a 10 minute drive away towards the west of Tangalle, the Goyambokka beach is a secluded area with palm trees lined along the shores and with turquoise blue waters. This blissful beach spot is uncluttered and peaceful, thus it offers you the possibility of spending some quality time at this beach. The sand here is very soft and powdery without pebbles. Enjoy a sip of your favourite cocktail or juice as you relax on the sun beds which are freely available along the beach. The Pallikaduwa beach is made of a string of rocky inlets and there is little sand, however, in comparison to the atmosphere at Goyambokka, the atmosphere is a little bit more upscale for there are high end hotels, all of which cater for an exclusive and private beach holiday. In spite of the scenic beauty and chilled atmosphere, these beaches’ waters are not safe for swimming.
